Dear Families and Friends,
The Academy of Saint Paul has received notification from the National Blue Ribbon Schools Program of the U. S. Department of Education that we have been designated as a 2015 National Blue Ribbon School in the category of high performing schools. Attaining Blue Ribbon status has been a strategic goal for our school. It is through the teamwork of our entire school community that we have received this distinction.
The school is accredited by the Middle States Association of Schools and Colleges. Founded in 1950 by the Sisters of Charity of Convent Station, in 1990 the school became co-sponsored by the four parishes of St. Paul, Church of Presentation, Immaculate Heart of Mary, and Immaculate Conception and became known as St. Paul Interparochial School. In September, 2014, we successfully completed the Archdiocesan protocol for Academy status and are now known as the Academy of Saint Paul. The families served by the Academy come from twenty-three towns in New Jersey and New York. Scholarship, sprirituality and service are the foundations of an Academy of Saint Paul education. The school has a rich tradition and strong reputation for developing excellent students who are well rounded, confident, grounded in their Catholic faith, and good citizens of the Church and world.
An Academy of Saint Paul education does not culminate with eighth grade graduation. It is a precious, invaluable gift you can give to your children. Its enduring significance is attested to by the dedication of our families and alumni who support our vision and the progress of our Academy and continue to be active in our school community.
Wishing You God’s Grace,
Dr. Gail M. Ritchie
